Recreation Center Teaching Opportunities

All instructors must be permitted and approved.

Summer Job Opportunities at Recreation Centers

Youth Development Worker positions are available for the summer. This position works as a summer camp counselor by overseeing a group of 25 children in Kindergarten to 8th grade. The position monitors activities, plans programs and maintains the facility in a safe and efficient manner. Work involves actively engaging youth in positive character building and youth development activities while providing leadership and instruction in games, sports, crafts, and other programs and activities.

You must be 18 years of age with a High School Diploma to apply. Pay is $11.48 an hour and position requires 35-40 hours per week.
