Throughout the year, the City of St. Petersburg and the St. Petersburg Parks & Recreation Department host large city events.

These events include Raptorfest, Green Thumb Festival, Fourth of July, Hispanic Heritage Celebration, Autumn Harvest Festival, Howl-O-Fest, Field of Screams, Holidays in the Sunshine City.

Dog Swim Days

Green Thumb Festival

August 17 from 9:30 AM - 1 PM at Fossil Park Pool


Spoil your dog with a day at the pool!
Owner must bring proof of dog’s vaccinations. Sorry, no human swimming permitted during Dog Swim Days.
Admission is $5 per dog.
Come prepared for your dog to have fun! Make sure to bring the following:

An average of 90 events take place in the St. Petersburg yearly. When you consider there are only 52 weeks in a year, we have a lot going on here. Events like the Ribfest, Special Olympics, St. Pete Run Fest and Tampa Bay Blues Festival are just a few.
