Youth & Teen Programs
Our Youth & Teen Programs provide out of school opportunities for participants in Kindergarten through 8th grade to play, learn, and explore through interactive activities, field trips, and more! Check out our calendar of upcoming activities that you can register for:

Note: On School’s Out Days, breakfast and lunch are NOT provided. Please pack an unrefrigerated lunch or register for a lunch option if available. Snack is provided during the school year. Breakfast and lunch are provided during Summer Camp.
About the Center
Childs Park Recreation Center has a long tradition in the South St. Petersburg area for providing classes, youth and teen programs and a place to have social events. Our before school, after school, and summer camps focus on St. Pete Values, a set of values at the core of all of our programs for elementary through middle school youth. Take advantage of our new fitness center, dance room and kitchen facilities. If you are planning a baby shower, anniversary, wedding, corporate gathering, family reunion or any social event, you will find Childs Park Recreation Center and park is a great place to start.
History of the Center
The Childs Park Recreation Center underwent a major remodel adding our fitness center, teaching kitchen, dance room and lobby area dedicated on December 10, 2011
