Digital Archaeology in the City of St. Petersburg Parks
The City of St. Petersburg's Parks and Recreation Department maintains four archaeological sites.
Each site contains components that range in age from the Late Archaic Period (ca. 3000-500 B.C.) through the region's Pioneer Period (AD 1821-1888). These sites have been preserved for future generations to enjoy.
Through a partnership with the University of South Florida, each site was documented using 3D survey technology that allows you to virtually tour the site.
